Luna Park Sydney turns 90!

On the Saturday the 4th of October 2025 we celebrated our 90th birthday with a special Park event. See some snaps, and all the details about our incredible history as a core part of the social and cultural fabric of Sydney.

Celebrating 90 Years

On 4th October 1935, Luna Park Sydney opened its gates during the Great Depression, giving Sydneysiders a place to escape and have fun. To celebrate 90 years of joy, we held a special sold-out gated Park event on Saturday, the 4th of October. Highlights included ninety 90-year-olds on the Ferris Wheel, a giant cake, and unlimited rides for everyone attending!

Price: $35 for Unlimited Rides
This is a gated event, and all attendees will need to purchase a ticket online to enter the Park, even if they don't plan on riding. Please note the 10am - 4pm session is now sold out.

From thrilling rollercoasters, to the nostalgic Carousel, plus entry to heritage-listed Coney Island

1930s Live Performances

Transport yourself back into the 1930s with our incredible entertainment, including jugglers, clowns, dancers and more.

Dream Ride

Watch a screening of 'Dream Ride', a short film created by the students of Bradfield Senior College, which will be screened at 11am for the morning session and 5pm for the evening session inside our Big Top.

Take home a memory

Every guest attending will receive a complimentary souvenir postcard featuring an Ashley Taylor artwork to take home and remember forever that they were part of Luna Park Sydney's 90th birthday celebrations.
