On the Saturday the 4th of October 2025 we celebrated our 90th birthday with a special Park event. See some snaps, and all the details about our incredible history as a core part of the social and cultural fabric of Sydney.


On 4th October 1935, Luna Park Sydney opened its gates during the Great Depression, giving Sydneysiders a place to escape and have fun. To celebrate 90 years of joy, we held a special sold-out gated Park event on Saturday, the 4th of October. Highlights included ninety 90-year-olds on the Ferris Wheel, a giant cake, and unlimited rides for everyone attending!

Price: $35 for Unlimited Rides
This is a gated event, and all attendees will need to purchase a ticket online to enter the Park, even if they don't plan on riding. Please note the 10am - 4pm session is now sold out.
