Embark on a sensory journey through Sonic Neon, a technology-driven experience where music is transformed into captivating visuals across eight meticulously crafted rooms. Located within Luna Park Sydney's iconic fantasy palace on the water's-edge of Sydney Harbour, this immersive experience showcases innovation, turning light and sound into a breathtaking spectacle.

Located within Luna Park Sydney's iconic fantasy palace on the water's-edge of Sydney Harbour, this family-friendly experience showcases innovation, turning light and sound into an immersive, breathtaking spectacle. 

This is a self-led walk-through immersive experience that spans over 150 metres and includes eight meticulously crafted rooms for you to explore!

SESSION TIMES 

Sonic Neon runs from 2pm until Park closes when the Park is open in full capacity.  It is a walkthrough, interactive experience with no defined start or end time - simply arrive between open hours and experience at your own pace. 

Session times may change so please check the hours when purchasing your ticket.

SESSION LENGTH

A typical experience will run for approximately 20 - 30 minutes.

$29 per ticket*

Bundle and Save: Purchase as an add-on to an Unlimited Rides for $20, or as part of the Lunaverse Pass for $99. 


*Guests under 85cm in height as deemed by Luna Park Sydney are free with a paying adult. All other guests require a ticket to enter this experience

 

  • What can I expect from the experience?

    Sonic Neon is a completely new experience in a re-imagined Crystal Palace.

    Embark on an electrifying odyssey through sound and light at Sonic Neon—an immersive, family-friendly journey where music transcends into breathtaking visuals. Explore 8 meticulously crafted rooms, from the pulsating rhythms of the Drum Den to the ethereal melodies of the Melodic Maze. Located in a 1935-built fantasy palace, Sonic Neon is an innovative space where music and light converge in a symphony of creativity, fun and joy for all of the family. Come and dance your way through an immersive maze where lights and sound come from every angle. To end this immersive experience, you can expect an infinity mirror room with over 6,000 hanging lights, transporting you to another galaxy with a 3D video experience unlike anything ever seen in Australia before. 

    DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence is a takeover of Sonic Neon! DJ Dorothy the Dinosaur and her crew are bringing the party with remixes of beloved Wiggles hits like ‘Hot Potato’, ‘Fruit Salad’, ‘Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car’, and more. Get ready to groove to unforgettable tunes, from chart-toppers to guilty pleasures, as we blend the infectious energy of The Wiggles with the classic dancefloor beats from across the years. DJ Dorothy’s Rave of Innocence is perfect all ages experience! 

    DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence and Sonic Neon are two separately ticketed experiences, with their own  individual opening hours and dates, but located inside the same venue. If you want to visit both you can do so with a Lunaverse Pass!

  • What is the difference between Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence?

    Sonic Neon is the original electrifying odyssey inside Crystal Palace. You explore 8 meticulously crafted rooms where music and light converge in a symphony of creativity, fun and joy for all the family. 

    DJ Dorothy's Rave is a takeover of the original Sonic Neon but instead featuring DJ Dorothy's newest party remixes of beloved Wiggles hits. 

    These are separately ticketed events with their own opening hours and days.

  • Do Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence take place indoors or outdoors? 

    The Crystal Palace is an in-door venue.

  • How long is the experience?

    Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence inside The Crystal Palace take approximately 25 minutes to walk through, however they are a self-guided experience so it just depends on the time you spend in each room. We recommend taking the time to see how the rooms change with each song! 

  • Will food and beverages be available for purchase?

    Refreshments will be available to purchase in the Crystal Palace and Luna Park Sydney on the day of your visit.

  • Can I take food and drinks into Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence?

    Food and beverages can be taken into Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence.

    You can also purchase food and beverages from any of the Luna Park Sydney outlets before you enter, and you can bring them into the Crystal Palace, however, alcohol is strictly prohibited unless otherwise indicated.

  • Is there parking available?

    Guests can use Luna Park Sydney’s Car Park.

  • Is there a dress code?

     Please note that stiletto shoes are unable to be worn in the venue.

  • Where can I get tickets?

    Tickets can be purchased on Luna Park Sydney’s website www.lunaparksydney.com or at ticket sale points at Luna Park Sydney. 

  • Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

    Yes, it is possible for your tickets to be transferred to others to use if they are purchased via lunaparksydney.com.  

  • Do I require a ticket to Luna Park Sydney to enter Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence?

    No, you do not require a ticket to enter Luna Park Sydney to attend Sonic Neon.

    However, all attendees to Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence will require a ticket to enter except for infants under 85cm in height who must remain with their parent or guardian.

  • Is there an age requirement?

    All are welcome to attend Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence, however given the intensity of the experience and the high sound levels, parents should consider whether it is appropriate for young children and if so, hearing protection is advised. 

    Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

  • Do I need to print my ticket?

    No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly by Luna Park Sydney staff at entry.  You can also print your ticket if you prefer.

  • I can't find my ticket. What should I do?

    Tickets are emailed  within 10 minutes of your order being finalised. If you cannot locate your please check their junk mail or log into their Luna Park Sydney account here.

    If you are still unable to locate tickets please contact grelations@lunaparksydney.com.

  • Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

    To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting the application of Australian Consumer Law and the Consumer Guarantees, NO refunds, credits or replacements will be issued if for Sonic Neon or DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence for change of mind. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the session if  the aformentioned experiences are cancelled by Luna Park Sydney or otherwise required by law. 

    No Luna Park Sydney or Big Top Sydney product may be onsold for any reason. Any onsold product may be refused when presented at Luna Park Sydney for redemption.

    Refunds are only permitted pursuant to Luna Park Sydney’s terms and conditions and can be found here.

  • Can I make a group booking? 

    You can make group bookings up to the amount of tickets permitted at www.lunaparksydney.com allows you to purchase (based on availability).

  • Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

    It is recommended that you arrive 10 minutes before the time stated on your ticket.

  • What if I arrive late to my scheduled session?

    If you have arrived late to Luna Park Sydney and have missed your allocated time slot our team will work with you to determine the best outcome.

  • Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

    No pets are allowed at Luna Park Sydney, though service animals are permitted.

  • Is the Crystal Palace accessible?

    The Crystal Palace is an accessible venue.

    Wheelchairs, prams and movement aids are all able to be used to access and remain inside the Crystal Palace.

  • Can I smoke or vape?

    Luna Park Sydney is a smoke and vape free venue. 

  • Pass Outs

    Please note that there are no Pass Outs to Sonic Neon or DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence.

  • Do you offer Companion Card tickets ?

    If you are a companion card holder and would like to attend Sonic Neon, you are eligible to access one (x1)  carer entry,  free of charge provided you meet required terms and conditions. To redeem this offer, please purchase your ticket at www.lunaparksydney.com in advance or from the Ticket Box on the day of your visit. Present your ticket with your Companion Card at venue doors for your carer  to enter free of charge on the day of your booking. Note:  session availability and capacities apply for ticket purchases.

  • Will there be sensory sessions available?

  • Health guidance

    Both Experiences are  an immersive experience with high intensity lights and very high levels of music.  The lighting used will contain strobing, flickering, patterned and strobe effects.  Smoke and Haze effects will also be used in some areas.   Guest discretion is advised.

    Both Experiences place along a one-way pathway.  There are some opportunities for exit along the pathway and please see Luna Park Sydney staff  if you require assistance. 

  • Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during Sonic Neon or DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence?

    Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence are walk- through experiences. There will be no seating available in the Crystal Palace.

  • Will restrooms be available on site?

    Luna Park Sydney has restrooms including mobility facilities. Please ask Luna Park Sydney staff for assistance.

  • Can I take photos or record Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence?

    Yes, taking photos and videos inside Sonic Neon and DJ Dorothy's Rave of Innocence is encouraged.

    Please ensure NO flash photography or videography takes place. This applies to all devices.

    Only private and personal devices may be used for recording content. Professional equipment and/or recordings for commercial use are strictly prohibited.

  • Is there a Lost & Found?

  • Is a coat check available?

    There is no coat check available at Luna Park Sydney.
