Make a Day of your Journey to Luna Park Sydney

Luna Park Sydney is situated on the shore of Sydney Harbour, one of the most famous and beautiful city-scapes in the world. The iconic Luna Park Sydney face overlooks other Sydney monuments – the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. From Luna Park, on Milsons Point, you have the most unique and panoramic view of Sydney Harbour.

With so much to see and do, why not make the most of your trip to Luna Park by taking a scenic Ferry ride to Luna Park Wharf (Milson’s Point Wharf). From the central point of Circular Quay, you can take the F3 Paramatta Line Ferry and arrive at Luna Park in 5 minutes, less than 20 metres from the face. Alternatively, you can hop abroad a F4 Pyrmont Bay ferry from Pyrmont Bay or Barangaroo and arrive at Milson Point Wharf in 20 minutes.

Trains from all across Sydney take you to Milsons Point. From Hornsby to Penrith, there are plenty of options to ensure you can arrive by train with ease, not even a switch! Not to mention, as the carraiges burst from their tunnels and emerge across the iconic Harbour Bridge, you can spot our shiny grin from a height and you will see anticipation peak and smiles increase – not only yours and your families, but other commuters around you. Visit the Transport NSW website to plan your trip.

Besides the thrill and fun of our rides, there’s so much to see and do once you’ve arrived. We know for parents and kids, sometimes you need 10 mins to relax and re-cooperate before getting back to the excitement of our rides. The Luna Park boardwalk wraps around Lavender Bay toward the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It offers panoramic views of the harbour and it’s a great spot to watch the classic green and gold Sydney Ferries swim by. It’s also completely flat and accessible via gates on the side of the Park, each gate has a ramp for wheelchair users and mums & bubs with prams. The boardwalk is also a great spot to grab a scenic selfie… or two.

Featuring an immaculate lawn area and sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, it’s the perfect place to enjoy your food with friends or family.

If you keep walking along the boardwalk towards Lavender Bay, after two minutes you’ll find the stairs to the magical Wendy’s Secret Garden, entry is free. Get lost in a labyrinth of zigzagging stairs, artefacts, sculptures and whimsical landscapes, before returning to the action-packed Luna Park.
